Fun Kris Kringle Ideas

December is finally here, which means the Christmas season is in full swing. Be prepared and go the extra mile for your Christmas parties this year! Here are some fun “somethings” for exchanging gifts, kris kringle, or monito monita:

SOMETHING…

Shining, shimmering, splendid!
With the streets all aglow with Christmas lights and decorations, it only makes sense to give gifts that are also shining, shimmering, and splendid! Get your Christmas sparkle on with a shiny new metal straw, glitter gel pens, a nice set of earrings, or a personalized wax sealing kit.

That starts with the first letter of your gift receiver’s first name
Do you want to give your kris kringle gift hunt an extra challenge? Get them something that starts with the first letter of their first name. For the more challenging letters like X, Y, and Z, you can try getting them stuff like x-ray printed items, X-box games (if they’re into that and if it fits in the budget, yema cake, yoghurt pops, yummy food (which may seem like an opt out, but who can judge?), zipper cases, zipper bags, or ziplocks for the homemaker.

Plain but useful
Everyone appreciates something that they can use in their day-to-day lives. Kris kringle presents the perfect opportunity to give your family, friends, or co-workers something they need everyday. Great examples of this could be stationery, paper clips, hair ties, safety pins, and other things people always need but may not necessarily think of.

Ugly but edible
It’s always nice to share a good giggle with the people you love, and getting them something ugly but edible is a great way to go about it. A few great examples of this is getting someone a pack of ginger, a crushed candy bar, smushed skittles, or a flat cupcake. They may not be the best looking, but they’re still undoubtedly edible and probably delicious.

Loud
Since Christmas is a time of celebration, something loud wouldn’t be amiss during Christmas parties. A few great loud gifts would be pop pops (the noisemakers you throw), paper trumpets or torotot, microwave popcorn, a mini-speaker, or even a videoke set if you’re feeling fancy.

From the heart
Although Christmas may be the time for exciting presents, the best gifts are often the ones that come straight from the heart. Very few things are more meaningful than a gift that has been offered solely for the joy of the other person. Gifts from the heart require more thought and effort, but it’s a sure bet to wow whoever you want to give it too.
