After almost two months of competition that began back in September, the 2023 Shakey’s Super League Preseason Championship is about to crown its champion. And from 16 teams from the UAAP and NCAA, it’s down to just two: defending champion NU Lady Bulldogs or the UST Golden Tigresses.

But the Lady Bulldogs, who also won the Shakey’s Super League title last year, looked like their dominant selves, sweeping the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 25-15, 25-20, 25-16 at the Mall of Asia Arena last Saturday.

The NU Lady Bulldogs secured another title, this time in the Shakey’s Super League. Just months after winning the UAAP Season 84 title, the Lady Bulldogs had another unbeaten run to a championship, defeating the DLSU Lady Spikers in straight sets, 25-23, 25-20, 25-19, in the Finals of the 2022 Shakey’s Super League last Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
